Our responsibilities were to design and develop CD set for lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and grounding and communication system for all three buildings. Sized various equipment with voltage classification ranges from 13.8/7.2/2.4/600/48/208/120kv for switchgears, switchboards, transformers, panels, motor controls center (MCC’s), variable speed drives, emergency generator power systems, UPS, ground systems, and motors. Designed lightning protection and created equipment list for the scope of work for lightening design. Designed electrical systems, calculations, and drawing preparation review for regulatory body submittals as per building code. Performed power system calculations and studies for electrical systems, and wrote preventative maintenance procedures for each of the three buildings. Provided client with arc flash label for all equipment Level 2 and above, and all preliminary coordination settings to send to manufactures. Worked with commissioning agent during construction and final tests walkthrough.
