Planning

LXC Engineering Group works hand-in-hand with our clients. We engage our clients, providing a collaborative environment necessary to achieve the clients’ desired result. Proper planning aids in everything from a project staying on schedule to knowing a facility’s individualized energy needs and result in plans that can be executed when necessary and save our clients time and money.

Training

Our training courses teach clients better ways to obtain and process new information and keep them involved with meaningful lessons to their specific challenges. Our trained professionals bring expertise in engineering, emergency management, homeland security, infrastructure protection, benefit-cost analysis, and mitigation planning.

Exercises

Our realistic learning environments help clients build relationships and improve skill sets. We conduct exercises in a no-fault learning environment that helps familiarize key personnel with roles and responsibilities; assess capabilities; validate plans, policies, and procedures; and identify areas for improvement.

Contingency and Continuity of Operations Planning

Our managers help clients prepare for conditions that could prevent normal workplace accidents. We apply accepted policies, best practices, and appropriate techniques to develop alternatives for the continuation of essential operations and services. Because every situation is unique, every plan is developed to address them.

Hazard Mitigation

In accordance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000, funding eligibility for FEMA’s Pre-Disaster Mitigation and Hazard Mitigation Grant program is contingent upon having a FEMA-approved Hazard Mitigation Plan. We provide our clients with a superior team capable of developing an approvable Hazard Mitigation Plan. We also assist with governmental steering committees, public input, hazard profiles, detailed risk assessments and vulnerability analyses, applicable mitigation strategies, benefit-cost analyses, and support through the FEMA approval processes.

LXC Engineering Group uses more than 30 years’ experience to give unique insight into how to prepare for national disasters and how their effects are best managed. We help clients become better able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions through efficient and cost-effective mitigation measures that will reduce the impact of future disaster events.
