To facilitate JCP’s growth and expansion, we were asked to develop the electrical and mechanical plans for a prototype store. Our team was responsible for creating plans for a building that would be demolished, and design seven sets of different electrical plans, based on these proto-type stores that Penney’s might construct throughout Florida. Our team designed and developed a CD that included HVAC, lighting, power distribution, grounding system, fire alarms, and communication systems for the retail space. Power system calculations and studies were performed, as well as preventative maintenance procedures. We provided the client with arc flash labels for equipment to show Level 2 and above, and designed the lightening protection system.
